The rain in Spain.........

....... isn't falling at the moment?!

Picture sent to me by a friend who is on holiday.   Nothing much here today.  I went into town to visit the jewellery workshop to get a quote for a signet ring.  I have my dad's wedding ring and was hoping to get it made into a cynet ring for No.2's 30th Birthday in December.  Difficult decision as it would be much more than just buying a new ring but I do feel a bit nostalgic towards him having a ring containing gold from my Dad's ring?

Home for a bit of pottering and a visit to the garden centre to get some more bulbs.  I have gone a bit mad this year (ordered from Sarah Raven ££ as well as lots bought from nurseries) but I love gardening, and Spring bulbs are a welcome sight after the winter.  That's my excuse anyway.

We got the scrabble board out again (makes a change from the crossword) but OH won - and only a few games behind me now.

No.2 went over to Tooting to see No.1 and they had lunch out and a good catch up.  Hope she managed to get a word in edgeways?!
