Went to Ashness Bridge this morning.  Had in mind a walk to a waterfall but only got so far as we encountered a non dog friendly stile!  There's a gap under the fence which Misty has got under before but I guess she's feeling her age these days and it was a no go.  So back to Ashness Bridge and down the hill to another waterfall, an un-named one near Derwent Water.  Afterwards of course Misty had a paddle in the lake which is still very high and over a lot of the footpath, so walkers having to walk on the road.
