Dahlias

The main bed of the showy dahlias is very battered looking and I expect that within the next few weeks the gardeners will clear the bed where it will lie dormant over the winter.

These scarlet dahlias are growing beside the wall in the veggie garden. When they first started to grow they had the earth to themselves but now they have almost been dwarfed by what I think is carrot foliage ….. not being a veggie grower the feathery green leaves might well be something else.

Another beautiful day but perhaps not quite as warm as yesterday.
