Fungi in the Wood

No, they’re not potatoes! Contrary to what Google is telling me!
I’m afraid I don’t know it’s name, but the tiny flower is Common stork’s-bill.
It was lovely and sunny this morning, although a bit chilly. It could have been just me feeling the cold, because I’m constantly chilled at the moment, and not in the good way.
We tried to walk in the sun, because the shaded parts felt much colder. The scent of pine needles and earth were strong after all the rain. We heard a few wee birds and some noisy magpies, but definitely quieter than usual.
There was much more fungi around but all similar, nothing that stood out. I’m feeling the need to go further afield to see some different fungi, maybe Tentsmuir forest.
I promised Janice we would go out somewhere in the car this week, so that would be an option.
Just off to pick Maggie up from school for her sleepover. Maggie was asked recently who the important people in her life are. She said Geordie and Nana! I was so so pleased. Both Hannah and Maggie are a huge part of my life.
Note that Geordie gets mentioned first! Hehe!
