By the harbour
A day off today - it feels like a long time since I’ve had the opportunity just to wander with no time limit. The village was alive with birds - I spotted a grey heron, two egrets, lots of redshanks picking through the rocks and shells, oystercatchers, wagtails, rooks and jackdaws, two robins, and many, many sparrows and gulls. I didn’t have my proper camera with me so no wildlife photos, but this was taken down by the harbour as I explored amongst the boats and lobster pots.
