Brown Trout.

This trout would have been easy to catch with the rod and dry fly. He was so intent on the hatching mayfly .Put the rod down and picked up camera instead. Too quick for my eye,but hope he is there tomorrow. Would like to get him with head next time. Between the trout and small birds ,the mayfly has about a 50-50 chance of making it to the bankside. A harvest for all perhaps. A few female spents laying eggs in the afternoon. No where near the number as previous seasons,but there`s time yet. The trout is about 2lbs, and could be 2lbs and 2ozs tomorrow !
