Just watched The Iron Giant with I. tonight...I really enjoyed it, especially for seeing it with her, and she LOVED it. Glad she can stay another day. The plan is for all of us to drive back to C'ville tomorrow afternoon after work.

Went shoe shopping with her this afternoon (took forever, but successful in the end) and cooked butternut squash and paneer curry together - yum!

Windows open to the dark night, sounds of the cricket chorus and neighbor's dogs, Jack and Copper, barking at something or other. Peaceful.
