What a view.

One of the reasons we bought this house was the view which was outstanding but over the years the tree in front of the house grew to the point it was above the roof.
The guy who lived there, a very pleasant fellow, passed away and the house was up for sale when we went away and the new owners were taking residence on our return.
Within a couple of weeks the tree at the front of the house was gone and as they have three children we had hopped the Phenix Palm in the back garden might go.
The collage I took the before picture a week or so ago and the after picture I took this afternoon and now our view is better than ever.

Its been a variable day cold first thing and then wet and now clearing skies with a light breeze.
