A life

Very quiet day. Started by changing my bed linen, getting one last lot of laundry done and doing my hair.
Set about ironing after breakfast, then spent a couple of hours finishing reading the crime book set round here.
Lovely sunny day for when I walked down to the cinema later. Arrived early enough to check out the repositioned Sherlock Holmes statue …so nice to see the top of Leith walk starting to get past the disruption of the last few years of tramworks
Saw A Little Life…filmed theatre version. Four hours of incredible intensity. What performances - especially from James Norton - and what a harrowing story. Somehow it felt appropriate to have had such a quiet, introspective day….
