Today's the day ...................... that felt like summer

Such a lovely day today - blue sky, sunshine and at 17 degrees, quite warm for us in this part of the country.

We got our flu/covid booster jags at the local surgery and then went for a walk along the coastal path of Kirkcudbright Bay.  The birds were singing and there were lots of butterflies, bees and other insects on the wing.  There was no need for coats - t-shirts were fine.

In fact, if it wasn't for these autumnal rosehips, you could have been forgiven for thinking that summer had returned ...................
