Inspired by that time of year.

The leaves are changing colour and it’s the last day of September. The shop are all trying to get us excited about Halloween.
I have happy memories of scooping out turnips to make ‘neepie lanterns’. It was a hard and smelly job - but even more memorable was the smell when a row of lanterns were lit and displayed on the school stage for everyone to select the most gruesome!
