Mist and sunshine

We had planned to visit the Singing Drumlin which other Blippers have been to, but the weather put us off. We had been using it as an excuse to go for Sunday Lunch at the Black Bull in Sedbergh anyway, so we cancelled the visit and went for lunch! Such a good place to eat.

The morning was wet as we drove towards Sedbergh and on the return there was still a lot of mist hanging over the hills. Then suddenly the sun appeared and brightened everything.

This is that moment - mist over the Howgill Fells with light on the fellside. In the distance you might be able to see Cautley Spout, the waterfall high up in the hills. Bracken colourful and trees just on the turn.
