Once again!

Well here we are, back to normal, the sun is shining and we've been sitting out on the deck, though it's still a touch breezy.

Popped out to the Walled Garden this morning and picked another three pounds of runner beans. Still more to come, and more on our deck plants too. We still have four bundles in the fridge and have given more away today! Late arriving, but still flowering!

Another Blip from the garden. This is a bromeliad, a pineapple relative from Chile, Fascicularia bicolor subspecies canaliculata. I confess to having Blipped it several times before, both from my garden in Oban and from Arduaine. It grows in trees in the wild, but at the moment mine is on top of a wall. At home it's pollinated by hummingbirds.
