Slow day

Fortunately we were all rather tired this morning so it was a late start. Phin's tail was very droopy and he had a hang dog expression but ate his breakfast and settled down for a nap. Both dogs slept the rest of the morning until a quick walk round the steam at lunchtime.

We treated ourselves to a late lunch at the Papermill. My steak sandwich and chips was just about he ticket. A lazy afternoon followed before we took the dogs to the old railway path to keep them away from water. A short walk but possibly not the best idea as Phin’s tail looked even more droopy. A quick look on Mr Google and I think he’s sprained his tail. That’s a common problem with Labradors and it should heal on its own with rest.

Very quiet evening finished with a lovely hot bath and an early night.
