Not his birthday yet

Ben isn’t a teenager till Monday but they had a cake ceremony on Saturday night as Cameron got the bus in from Edinburgh for the night and K and P there as usual on a Sat night. Laura baked the cake.

I felt quite crap all afternoon, I’m thinking as it’s the first family birthday that Mum isn’t at. We would have had a party at our house with the fam. I suppose I must remember it’s early days and will have days of up and down. Doesn’t matter what age mum was it’s still my Mum that isn’t here anymore.

Made Cameron’s bolognaise and lentil soup for his freezer.

At lease I was productive!
