Art Trail

The Green Doors Art Trail is on this weekend and I thought it was a good activity for J. I had identified 5 places and we only managed 2. We had stopped for lunch and when it started pouring with rain as we were struggling to park at the third location we decided to go home. I bought a succulent in a pot at our first stop, then got some advice on abstract painting at a second. At our third stop we could have seen 5 other artists, but we’re unable to park so we went home.
Mr D had decorated one of my cakes with candles for J’s birthday. I then started preparing for our roast supper. Potatoes and parsnips and Yorkshire puddings to go with the beef. Yum. Then lots more chatting before bed.
