Windowless kitchen sink

Since we have two big glass sliding doors on the other side of the kitchen, I did not think much about the absence of a window over the kitchen sink. In fact the previous owners had mounted a paper towel rack right there, and I thought it was pretty convenient.
But my recent houseguest has a flair for interior decorating and suggested I spruce up said space with a focal point more interesting than paper towels.
So I brought some birds inside. I must say they look snazzier than the previous focal point.
