Anti Fascist Protest
Today Teba and I took part in a protest against the ultra right wing party AFD.
It was a peaceful and colourful protest from about 1000 people with music, speeches and the try to disturb the members of the AFD in the nearby city hall. We weren't allowed to come near it, so the people stuck in a side street. It was good to see such a big group of protesters, but I can't imagine that the members of the AFD inside the building noticed us at all. But you never know!
Teba's shirt says: I'm not an "unworthy life"*. Stop the ADF.
(* "Unworthy life" was the Nazi expression for disabled people who were later murdered. The AFD is against inclusion of disabled people and the Nazis started also by separating them.)
My shirt says: You can't say later: We didn't know.* No vote for the AFD
(* "We didn't know" was mostly used as an excuse, when asked why they didn't try to prevent the Nazis in 1933)
The backsides of our shirts can be seen in H0tamer's blip, who thankfully brought us to the protest and picked us up again afterwards.
Thank you all so much for your encouraging hearts, stars and comments for yesterdays painting blip :-)
