A wonderful day of art and travelling. We started at the Hepworth Wakefield. It was fabulous - the best gallery I’ve been to for years, a tasty cafe and an excellent shop. Highly recommended!

We then went to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park nearby. The Erwin Wurm exhibition was humorous and generally the Park was good, but paled in comparison to the Hepworth. Still, a good afternoon. 

We then drove through some heavy traffic on the M6 up to Grasmere for a couple of days in the Lakes.
