Dry
Well we didn't get the intense wind that was forecast - it was gusty but not anything out of the ordinary. That was fortunate as someone came to look at my leaky conservatory! Both my builders had tried to repair it but were not successful and one recommended a lead worker. The channel that takes water from the conservatory roof was thought to be the culprit, and the drainpipe from the roof let out on the slate roof above the channel. Water was coming in the corner, at times dripping from a screw in the door frame and also causing damp on my kitchen wall and the paint had come off in two patches - not good for my newly painted kitchen!
Well he fixed both problems. It was fascinating watching him mould a half cylinder to take water away from the drainpipe, and constructing a box to fit in the channel. All without any measuring! Just after he left the rain came and no leaks! Yay!
