Night and Day

I met this hedgehog in the garden, just after midnight. He was crunching his way through some Tesco kitten food dry biscuits.

This morning my new rescue cat watched Pickle playing with a catnip toy and then copied her. She was still in ‘hide’ mode as she was under a chair (you can’t see the top of the chair here as I cropped it out). . I have concerns about her because I don’t think she’s ever lived in a house before. One ping from the microwave frightens her. I’m not sure she’s happy here. I have her on a ‘foster with a view to adopt’ basis and I have to decide what to do!
