Bury Your Nuts....

....that was the aim of the annual 'Bury Your Nuts' competition, with the squirrel who did it the fastest and at the appropriate depth winning a winters supply of Nuts for them and their team, and family.

It was a county competition that took place across the country, with the winners of each county going to the finals, facing each other off, with the winner getting the Nuts. 

George was in the Finals, having already won a bag of nuts at the county level.

George was glad it was dry for his turn, as things tended to get sticky when it got wet, and he'd got more grip doing the digging this way.

After a lot of strategic planning, talking, and general nut talk amongst the teams that day, Georges team won, and the squeals of delight coming from his household that evening had George doing the unprecedented, doing a swap, and taking the place of one of his staches of Nuts.
