Back blipping

I had another dental surgery on Friday morning. It’s always such a relief when it’s over and I get myself into a very anxious state before it. 1.5 hours in the chair. Not painful exactly because of the local anaesthetic , but not pleasant and quite noisy. Anyway, another section of my gums deep cleaned. I now have what feels like lots of stitches and a soft plaster on my gums. Antibiotics, painkillers, cold purée for 24 hours and then luke warm soft food for the next week no hot food or drinks. I managed mashed up cold croquettes last night. Back in a week to get the stitches out. As this is now Saturday, I can say that I didn’t sleep too well last night. I have to sleep a bit more raised than usual and I just couldn’t get fully comfortable. However, I did get some sleep. My jaw is tender, swollen and I’m sporting a bruise and just feel a bit delicate. I’ve been using ice packs, which seem to help. Not a good look!
