Prayers Answered
Just after 10am this morning I was at my doctors having a 'flu jab as I'm of a certain age; it didn't hurt despite Mrs BB who was working telling the doctor to jab it in! There's love for you.
Ten minutes from home is the stunning church of St Michael The Archangel which is down in a dip in the landscape and has been a place of worship since 1056AD, the present church built less than a hundred years later. It's a simple building but oozes age, character and feeling. The link above is an aerial I've taken of it with a photo' of a roman altar.
The main photo' today shows the inside with roman altar (left) and the very old font. You can make out the remains of the 13th century wall paintings. The extra show a close up of the lovely stone font and two wonderful wood carvings on the forward pews.
My prayers were answered with Cardiff City FC winning 2-0 against Rotherham to put us in the 'play-off' positions - our fourth league win on the trot!
