Weather

We seem to spend our times these days saying that it's unseasonably hot... or unseasonably cold... or unseasonably wet... or unseasonably dry. Well I, for one, am not complaining that it has been an unseasonably mild and unseasonably dry day given our current predicament of a broken boiler together with our coughs and colds.

Mr Flossmo is currently working on the broken boiler situation - we have an engineer coming next week to see if the current one is economically repairable but we have also started the process of costing a replacement.  The pros and cons of the whole thing are bewildering. 

For some light relief we adjourned to the garden and did a bit of a tidy up. We both felt quite virtuous as the garden waste bin filled up.

The orchid has been flowering its heart out whilst we were away, seven blooms and counting.
