WHAT A SWIZZ ON SILLY SATURDAY

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We all got up early this morning because we knew that there were lots of boxes of chocolates around, so we thought we would have a little Chocolate Party BUT Mrs. HCB had obviously got there before us and of course, you all know that she is a confirmed chocoholic!  It’s no wonder that Mr. & Mrs T call her Madame Chocolat!

You won’t be surprised to know that both boxes of Lindt chocolates, the Matchmakers, Willie’s Cacao Sea Salt Caramel Pearls and the After Eights were all empty and even some of the Celebrations were missing so what a swizz!

We were really upset because we have three new members of the Silly Saturday Gang - who were originally part of Deanna’s Gang - Mummy Bear, just behind Hoggy, Hamilton, named after Lewis Hamilton, hugging one of the Lindt boxes just in front of Leighton and Uncle Bulgaria, who was hoping there would be at least one After Eight left in the box. However, we decided that we would still open the box of Celebrations and try and snaffle one each before Mrs. HCB cottoned on.  The Quality Street that their friends brought yesterday still hasn’t been opened, so hopefully, we will get a look in there too - perhaps we should hide the box especially as the Use By Date isn’t until 04/1924!

So here we all are, gathered around the EMPTY chocolate boxes, trying not to be too upset but hoping that the few chocolates we have left will be a good welcome to Mummy Bear, Hamilton, Uncle Bulgaria and the others.  We think that it would have made dear Admirer smile - and of course, we do this every week to remember her, because she started this whole thing.  We send good wishes to Admirer’s husband and her daughter and grand-daughter, who will be 2 years old tomorrow.  I hope they all know how much we miss dear Admirer.

With love to you all from the extended Silly Saturday Gang  xxx

P.S.  For those who are F1 fans, Bootneck thinks that the man Mrs. HCB spoke to yesterday could have been Adrian Newey, Red Bull’s top designer - WOW!  She did look him up and it was definitely him!  Mind you, a friend of hers, who isn’t actually on Blip but reads them said “Well done Maureen that walk was a great achievement but you do make me laugh if you had got in that fabulous car don't think you would have got out as easily.  You are such a people person,I think if the Pope passed by you would get a lift in the pope mobile.”
