Mexican Lunch

Pat and I like to eat at the Scottish Art Club after she has completed her life drawing class. Today this was not possible as a family misfortune meant the Chef was absent.

Some of the members recommended ‘Taco Libre‘ at  the East end of Shandwick Place and the beginning of Princes Street. This is a very small establishment tucked into a corner. The food is fantastic if you are accustomed to Mexican cuisine, rather than TexMex. There is a big difference.

Today’s entry shows some of the lettering in the interior. After our unexpected lunch we headed off to the National Gallery to visit the Grayson Perry exhibition for the last time. We have seen everything and the extra today is Clare’s dress.

Clare is Grayson’s female persona.

In the evening we enjoyed an evening meal with Euan and Sophie. Delighted to see that the developer has finished the exterior in the square they look onto.

A late drive home and a very long day. Traffic was light, but so many contradictory speed signs on both sides of the Queensferry Crossing.
