Went recliner chair shopping with Ma n Pa. Now my mum is only 5 foot ( and a 1/4 …. We’ve all been drilled that it’s a v important to include the 1/4 of an inch ) but even being that short doesn’t make much difference in this outsized lounge set up . It’s Hagrid sized !!
They ordered a beautiful recliner to allow dad his afternoon snoozes in comfort. It’s very stylish and we’re all rather taken with it .
Roast lamb dinner was superb and we tried unsuccessfully to watch Gosford Park in memory of Michael Gambon but Amazon prime/ internet wasn’t having it , so we watched the delightful Roald Dahl short film The Wonderful Henry Sugar

Very excited video call to 12 yr old niece in Scotland while she opened her birthday pressies - I did good . She was beside her self with delight , full flappy hands and squealing at her remote controlled fairy lights and larva lamp . Love her x
