There and Back Again

I'm writing this very late on my iMac, with a real keyboard and mouse, and reveling in every easy moment!

That said, we had a fabulous time in Portland, even on our last half-day there! We had a couple of hours to fill before the six-hour train ride that deposited us in Bellingham at 9pm tonight, so we ventured onto a new street or two in the neighborhood around our studio cottage, and discovered Crema, yet another great coffee shop/bistro.

Today's photo is of one of my favorite window reflections in "our" NE Portland neighborhood, definitely fitting the "Keep Portland Weird" motto! The Madonna and "Cook on duty" sign are in the window of a restaurant we walked by almost every day, including today. The Coca Cola sign reflected in the window is on the Coca Cola North America Syrup Plant, complete with security guard and razor wire, also in that neighborhood.

Phil has an even more colorful street scene, taken near Crema. And if you'd like to see TerriG right side up, thanks to my pleas for help to Blip Central, click here!

(I wasn't able to make any comments on this travel day, but I'll catch up with you all over the next few days.)
