Met cousin M for our coffee break this morning. Her daughter is on a marine biology camp down at Portobello. Go back to Wanaka late this afternoon. Always lovely to spend time with M.

Another bleak damp day although more mild than yesterday. Washing on the line that may not dry much but at least will be smelling sweetly of fresh air when we bring it in later this afternoon. We have a utility room that faces north and we have set up a drying rack which gets a lot of use in winter. Usually the warmest room in the house.
