Bulb pots

They don't look very exciting, do they?  But they're crammed full of bulbs - tulips, daffs, and crocus.  And I'm going to put violas in the top of mine.

We attended a "Spring Bulb Workshop" at a local DIY store/garden centre.  We didn't expect they would tell us much we didn't know, but I thought (correctly) that it was an opportunity to meet local folk.  We came away with these pots crammed full of bulbs.

And we chatted (a lot).  And learnt that Dermot Kehoe's is a well stocked DIY shop.  And the other person attending the workshop is also a sewer.  We've exchanged phone numbers, and she is going to point me in the direction of a local patchwork group.  All positives. 

They have plans for lots of interesting workshops in the future.
