wishful thinking

We've been up Mt Ventoux and the Col du Tourmalet with our bikes ............. in the car.  (I had a note from my Mum).  We never got as far as the Alpe though.

A visit to the bike shop this morning; Anniemay needed new cycling shoes.  Then next door to the coffee shop.  

We sat upstairs looking out over the Grand Union Canal.  The narrow boat in the foreground is electric powered and run by and for the community.  Nice.
