A Good Crop

This year the apple trees produced a decent crop.  A picked a big basket of them and gave them to my crossroad neighbor to make a pie or apple sauce.  They help me so much during the year.  There are plenty more, but I couldn't reach them.  (Why are the best apples always just out of reach?)  I will make an apple crisp today, a favorite fall dessert for me.  The deer will share in our fall feast too grazing on the drops.  Gift#270: fall apples.  (If anyone wants to see the twirling flower, here's a link to my reel...)
