Another day, another jigsaw
I was feeling sufficiently grotty from (another) cold that it was far more preferable to spend my lunchbreak in the office, nursing a cup of soup with a book on mathematical physics. That in itself was twinged with guilt as I had stopped reading it a few months ago, and left it in one of the office cupboards. Only to recently find that it had been commandeered by one of the programmers for propping up his monitor. That was definitely not a respectable use of this amazing piece of work that encapsulates in a single book much of modern theoretical physics. So I rescused my book from this ignominious fate, and decided I should spend more quality time really working my way through it. Although at my current rate I may be able to skim read to the end by sometime in 2050...
Our little boy is really into jigsaws, although he gravitates towards those that he has already solved before. Still a real joy to see him at work. i just wanted to capture some of that while the evening light was still available.
