Govan today ...
... well just around the Cross.
Started at Govan Old Parish Church and the historic site fating back at least 500 years. We passed the Pearce Institute, Cardell Halls with the statue of Sir William Pearce in front then onto the former British Linen Bank with the carving of a ship above the door. Right at Govan Cross is the ornate drinking fountain and across the road beside the subway station is the statue of Mary Barbour
An area with a great history.
