Home again ..,

This chestnut tree, in the playing field of our local grandchildren’s school, caught my eye as we collected them this afternoon. I was thinking of the famous Sycamore Gap tree on Hadrian’s Wall that had been felled in an inexplicable act of vandalism last night.

We had our ‘flu jags today and also began to catch up on our post holiday tasks.
