Hayle (no Caesar) ;-)

After lunch with friends, an entire afternoon to myself. Tottered off to just about my favourite place on the planet, Porthkidney Sands, seen here where it meets the River Hayle estuary. That’s where my great uncle used to fettle around in boats, it’s where I have happy childhood memories of a large beach, outwith local or acquired knowledge it was, and remains, relatively secret.

There was much paddling.  :-))
