Went to the Elmer the elephant exhibition.

Busy day. I went to the 1719 community venue (used to be Holy Trinity Church opened in  1719) for a talk about Sunderland East End. Then off to the Museum for an exhibition about Elmer the multicoloured elephant. Elmer's creator was called David McKee and he wrote lots of other children's stories including Mr Benn, King Rollo and Not Now Bernard.
