River Wear

Molly and I explored some of the walks around where we are staying this afternoon. She was a bit reluctant at first but became very interested when she realised she was getting to walk through a field of sheep! The walk took us over a narrow footbridge across the river Wear. At the other side there was more excitement as we came across some hens which didn’t seem at all disturbed by her. Needless to say she was on a short lead!
