Marsupium Photography

After work trip to the Blaue Ampel headquarter to discuss our upcoming exhibition at the end of October. Photos have been selected and we made a plan where to hang them. All quite exciting.

I made a slight detour to take a photo of the bunker at Pallasstrasse. It was built in 40ies by Russian prisoners of war but it was never completed. After the war the Americans had multiple attempts to blow it up but couldn't use big enough charges due to the neighbouring buildings. At the end of the 80ies it was refurbished to be used as a bunker for 4000 people. In 2010 it was given up. It is now a listed building and used for exhibitions some times. I am totally fascinated that it is embedded in a block of flats.
