Short walk in the evening sun

I was off work today to recover from my marathon of a weekend (quite literally) which I will try and backblip once we return from Iceland next week and our second marathon of the week!

My calves were rather tight so I took a gentle stroll on the canal to stretch them out a bit and ease myself back onto my feet again for my one day at work this week tomorrow. Most of the canal was in shadow from the hedgerows and the low sun but I was lucky enough to catch some of the Hawthorn still in the light. My Lumix is packed for Iceland so I didn't really have enough zoom on the canon for anything else anyhow.
