Award Winner

Been with us since she was a nipper has Amanda. After a not-too-great-experience through school and five years hard-working her way up through the college she became the first e-inclusion Ambassador for Forth Valley College.

Not to get too techy, that means she was a driving force behind ensuring the college's online learning system was developed as a wholly inclusive system for all users. No mean feat on top of all we threw at her in her day-to-day studies, and the ups and downs of life outside of college. But, to make that all seem worthwhile, this weekend she won the Learner Ambassador award at the Scottish iTech Awards.

It's been impossible to shift that grin off of her face all day. We're all beaming with pride though, not only over this, but also for all the hard work she's put in to achieving her Diploma and moving on to even greater things next year.

Well done Amanda and, now that you've almost finished up for the summer, you can maybe get back to some of the more important things in life. Like Blipping.
