Needles

We are awash in a sea of fir needles. We have five big firs around the house, and we expect a fir and pine needle fall this time of year, but we have not seen them fall like this. It has to be related to the extended dry season this summer. We have lost one big tree this summer, after several last year, and we hope these aren’t to follow. Small signs count as well as the large.
