More Cake

Can’t have visitors at this time of year without foisting windfall apple cake on them. Happily it was half decent so breakfast wasn’t a bust!
D&K headed into town afterwards (full of cake) leaving me to sloth around for a while before deciding on a dinner dish and heading out in search of pig cheeks, as you do. They’ve now headed off to their kip, respite with cheeks and Tempranillo which may be a marriage made in heaven; can’t say for sure as I was on the Pinot Grigio.
Anyway - good food, good wine, good chat, what’s not to like?
