A weedy effort

Well, after having a look round the gardens at Eggleston yesterday, I could not escape the glaring fact that my garden is probably not going to make much of an effort to look like Eggleston all by itself.

So it's out with the buttercups and in with the peonies, and it would be really nice if I could see a bit of soil in between the plants one day. That's the plan :-)

But where do I begin? Start at one end and work methodically round from there, or randomly hack at the weeds which catch my eye and annoy me the most?

hmmmm, random, I think...
