Apedale Pit Wheel

I did a circular route with friends, who brought a large bag of bird seed with them. I found out that they fill up the bird tables and then wait to see who will visit.

Before we could sit down to watch, two nuthatches visited the makeshift table. Watching the birds like this, was one of those precious moments.

This pit wheel was where we stopped for a breather.
