After the Fire

The derelict Ayr Station Hotel after a fire which started on 25 September and which 15 fire engines attended. Three teenagers have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. The railway station, which is next to the building, has had all train services suspended.

The Glasgow & South Western Railway Ayr Station Hotel was designed by Andrew Galloway and opened in 1885 and finally closed in 2012.
