Changing seasons

The leaves are falling along with the nuts; today on a short wander after I'd spent a couple of hours making a photo book for a friend, I found hazel, conkers and beech nuts underfoot.  Crunchy walk.
The storm seems to have missed us thankfully - not a lot of high winds and only one short sharp shower so far.  Hope that continues...
