Peony Tree Flower

I love this peony tree. We've been together for a very long time, must be around 20 years!! It spent many years in a large pot but it wasn't very happy and a few years ago I put it in the ground and its shown its appreciation by going from strength to strength. I am hoping to take a cutting from it but have no idea how to do it so must have a look online, or if anybody here with green fingers knows I'd appreciate advice.

Have spent most of the day in the office today organising my diary and paperwork and phoning people. Have spent most of the evening cutting the front lawn which had got very long until I could bare the midges no longer!

Rain due tomorrow apparently!
