Dragonhouses

Today we visited "dragonhouses"; it's not clear how old they are, oldest estimates are from 1300 BC, latest estimates from 300 AD. They are built with huge slabs of limestone which form a pyramid-shaped roof. Dragon is not related to the flying fire spewing animals but rather to someone with superpowers. Because it took a lot of effort to build them. To reach them we had to climb a 100mtr rock stones path. I had great help from my brother getting down again.

Then we made a little walk in Styra, had lunch in Nea Styra at the sea and on our way back to our hotel we stopped in Zarakes to make a photo of a very nice old Venetian tower.
